Mastoidectomy - It is a surgical procedure that is conducted to draw out the diseased mastoid air cells. It is done because of an infection that spreads to the mastoid bone which is located behind your ear.
Tympanoplasty - Tympanoplasty is a surgical way to treat a defect in the middle membrane. The aim is to repair the perforated tympanic membrane to prevent infection and resto the hearing ability.
Stapedotomy – Otosclerosis is an ear condition that is taken as an abnormal growth of the third middle ear bone through which the stapes (third bone) cannot move freely. It results in the loss of hearing. Therefore, Stapedotomy is a procedure that aims to replace the stapes bone with a prosthetic.
Stapedectomy - The stapedectomy is done to repair the tiny bone in the middle ear stapes. It is performed through the ear canal with the operating microscope. The surgery involves a procedure of replacing the stapes bone with an artificial device that allows the sound waves to go back again to the inner ear for hearing.
